The study group wanted to stage an exhibition
to contribute to the Centenary of the war, but
rather than an exhibition available only for the
people of Melbourne, it was decided to have
the exhibition on the internet. On the internet
it would be available to everyone.
In the exhibition, members of the study group
share their greatest treasures with you. Some
members are well-known collectors who have
specialised in the Anglo-Boer War; others are
experts in aspects of the war who have started
collections related to their special interest.
You will find plenty of interesting exhibits and
text in the exhibition -- the Study Group's gift
to the Centenary Celebrations.
The study group lacks the infrastructure to
answer queries, and regrets it cannot provide
research facilities or other resources on-line
at this time.
However, the group would be grateful to hear
of any primary material (such as diaries and
letters of both Boer and British participants).
